Sunset Beach Cottages have three priceless settings for your special times. New cottages on the 'sunset' side of the Cape John, a cottage/home at very end of the Cape and our century Farm House. The three new, two bedroom, cottages sit overlooking the sandy saltwater flats of John Bay. At low tide, perfect for bare foot exploring and at high tide, even better for warm saltwater swimming. Our Farm House cottage with a heated, inground swimming pool is nearby.

You are minutes away from the Cape John wharf and the village of River John. At the wharf you can purchase fresh lobster and scallops in season. In the village you'll find everything you need with a drug store, a grocery store, 3 churches, a post office, a library with internet, the NS Liquor Commission, corner stores, 2 pizza shops, a Chinese restaurant, a gas station and several video outlets. |
What a great place to forget it all and just relax. Inside and out the Bay View offers comfort at its best on the ocean's edge. Newly built and nicely finished with Nova Scotia pine you'll enjoy vaulted cielings, a full kitchen, cozy bedrooms, a covered deck, pinic table and lawn chairs. Have a BBQ or camp fire. Watch the satellite TV or a movie on the DVD player or simply spend some quiet time glazing into a star filled sky. |
One thing you'll notice at the Christena is the peace and quiet. Only the ocean waves are heard as they roll in and out over the sandy beach. In the summer months the sun rises early - no fog to burn of here, and it sets late showing its spectacular colours - all right off of your deck. Although there's much to do in surrounding area, you may just want to stay cozied up right here and soak up the good life. |

The Cape Cottage, the original Sunset Beach cottage, is located on the tip of Cape John. It offers unrivaled views of John Bay and the Northumberland Strait. On many days you can see clear to Prince Edward Island. Three acres and miles of beach offer you much to explore. The Cape John wharf, with local fishing boats, is nearby and so are the 'sunning rocks' for harbour seals.

The Cape Cottage has many features including a wrap around deck with outdoor furniture. It has two bedrooms and a four piece bath. The Cape Cottage also has a full kitchen with microwave and a washing machine. Satellite TV /DVD/VCR, electric heat, a BBQ and a place for camp fires are all your's to enjoy. Best of all it has simply breath taking panaramic views of the ocean. |
