Sunset Beach Cottages are located in the rural seaside community of River John. We are on Nova Scotia's Sunrise Trail (NS Route 6) approximately half way between Tatamagouche and Pictou.
The Cottages and Farm House are located on the south west side of Cape John.
The Cape Cottage is located at the very tip of 'The Cape'.

From Amherst - travel east approximately 2 hours on the Sunrise Trail (Route#6)
From Halifax - travel north approximately 1 hour on the TCH 104 to Truro
From Truro - travel north approximately 1 hour on the 311 & 326 Hwys,
or northeast on the TCH 104 to Exits 19 - 20 and take the 376 to Pictou and then west on the Sunrise Trail
From the P.E.I. Ferry/Pictou - travel west approximately 25 minutes on the Sunrise Trail
From Cape Breton - travel approximately 2 1/2 hours on the TCH 104 to Exits 19- 20
